High Bank is a charming 3-bedroom end-of-terrace property in Porlock, located at the foot of an enchanted wooded combe called Hawkcombe. Deceptively spacious, the cottage features comfortable living/sitting areas, a pair of bathrooms, patio and conservatory, and no less than 2 log-burning fireplaces!

Porlock is a wonderful working Exmoor village and boasts three pubs, two grocery shops, a traditional local butcher, chemist, cash machine, petrol station, hardware shop, visitor centre, several art galleries and a range of independent restaurants, shops and tea rooms.Porlock Weir is approximately 1.5 miles from Porlock and is well worth a visit. There's a pub, restaurant, and take-away plus a range of individual shops such as tea rooms, Exmoor Glass, etc.Many of the shops in Porlock and Porlock Weir are open during traditional hours of 9 am to 5 pm, although hours are often extended during the summer season. Conversely, some shops also reduce their opening hours out of season.Minehead is the nearest town, approximately 6 miles from Porlock. Here you will find the larger supermarkets and petrol stations (Tesco, Morrison's and Lidl are both situated on the outskirts of the town and have longer opening hours), most major high street banks with cash machines, plus a range of other shops throughout the town.
