Coachman's Cottage is a unique Exmoor bolthole with a bright and spacious feel, ideal for couples looking to enjoy a peaceful coastal retreat. It is a charming old stable block which has been renovated to a fantastic modern standard, yet noticeably retains a range of attractive original features. Located in a beautiful and tranquil spot between Porlock and Porlock Weir, the cottage offers excellent views of Porlock Bay and the West Somerset coastline, and makes a superb base for walking enthusiasts. A huge network of coastal, woodland, and moorland walks are accessible virtually from the front door, with the famous Coleridge Way passing immediately behind the field beside the property and the South West Coast Path also just a field and a half away in front.

There are two restaurants (Locanda and Miller's at the Anchor), a pub (all three are dog-friendly) plus a range of individual shops such as tea rooms, Exmoor Glass and other independent retailers.Many of the shops in Porlock and Porlock Weir are open during traditional hours of 9 am to 5 pm, although hours are often extended during the summer season. Conversely, some shops also reduce their opening hours out of season.
