  • "First impression from outside, very poor."

    It looked as if it had never been cleaned or maintained. Nowhere to sit outside. Inside need of someT.L.C. Curtains looked as if they could fall off. But on the positive. A very cosy cottage, that was well equipped.

    i do apologise for your negative points, but wish you'd got in touch about outside seating at the time, as I'm nearby and would have helped set up the table, chairs and sunshade out of the shed, where there are also cushions for the bench at the back door. I'm sorry you didn't find them and hope these problems didn't spoil your holiday. Property Owner

Choose to venture further afield into Alnwick where you will be greeted by historic wonders, picturesque gardens or even explore other market towns including Morpeth and lovely villages like Rothbury with specialist shops and events.

The village of Longframlington sits at the heart of rural Northumberland, between the Cheviots and the coast and provides great access to a range of great walking opportunities. Brinkburn Priory is a pleasant, short drive away - a restored Augustinian priory in a most lovely setting beside the River Coquet. Just 10 minutes’ drive to the west is the National Trust’s Cragside House and Gardens, whilst the Heritage Coast is just a 15-minute drive to the east, offering miles of clean sandy beaches. The historic town of Alnwick, with its impressive Castle and Garden, lies just 11 miles to the north and is well worth a visit. With the spectacular National Park also within easy reach, this superb base is ideal for exploring Northumberland or taking a relaxing break!
