  • "The Penthouse is very well equipped, spotlessly clean on arrival and well-situated in the attractive town of Benllech, close to food shops and restaurants."

Being a first-floor apartment, it has sea views. However - the double bed in the master bedroom is well past its best. We were warned by previous reviews, and took a mattress topper with us, which still only made the bed barely comfortable. Having paid a significant premium for the availability of a balcony over other first-floor apartments in the block, we were disappointed only to be able to use it for 2 days out of 14, owing to its extremely windy location. We were possibly unlucky with the climate, but the balcony's situation between 2 roofs seems to cause a serious and uncomfortable turbulence. Overall, an experience rather like the curate's egg - good in parts.
