Ideal for couples, this homely retreat invites you in through a post box red front door, leading you into the sitting room.

Inside, the lounge uplifts your mood, with exposed beams, quirky household accessories and royal red armchairs offset with ivory walls.

The kitchen boasts a modern finish with gleaming white tiles and a dining area, welcoming two extra guests to enjoy a delicious home cooked meal with you.

You also have the benefit of a utility housing washing facilities and a large fridge/freezer, and the shower room boasts quality fixtures.

Upstairs, is a large, luxury bedroom with a king-size bed and views over the hills, towards the Welsh border.

To the exterior is an enclosed patio with garden furniture and a luxurious hot tub, perfect for soaking away your troubles after a rejuvenating hike across the hill range.

Adjacent to the cottage is The Stiperstones Inn also belonging to the owners; a traditional pub serving delicious food and real ales!

Located in a recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this region is very popular amongst walkers and explorers.

Nearby, is The Bog Visitor Centre, nestled in the shadow of the Stiperstones and staffed by local helpers, happy to share their knowledge of the area.

It also makes an ideal starting point for many walks around the National Nature Reserve and is noted for its warm welcome and local home baked refreshments.

A short drive away is the English heritage town of Shrewsbury, with an imposing abbey, Shrewsbury Castle and the Shropshire Regimental Museum.

There is also Attingham Park close by, along with Wroxeter Roman City, the museums at Ironbridge, and the castle and Michelin-starred restaurants of Ludlow.

The village of Stiperstones nestles in an unspoilt valley on the slopes of the beautiful Stiperstones Hill range and is only eight miles from the delightful Church Stretton and 12 miles from the historic towns of Shrewsbury and Bishop’s Castle. This small Shropshire village boasts a shop and charming inn and is a perfect starting point for many scenic trails, with the summit of the famous Stiperstones Hill, a 1.5 mile walk, and the East Ridge Wood mountain bike trails very close by. This area is a designated National Nature Reserve, a SSSI and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is consequently a favourite place for outdoor and wildlife enthusiasts. The Stiperstones Hill range is dominated by dramatic quartzite tors, which tower above an unspoilt heathland, the most famous is the Devil’s Chair, whilst Manstone Rock is the highest point at 536m above sea level and offers stunning views on a clear day. A short drive away is one of England's finest heritage towns with over 600 listed buildings; Shrewsbury nestles on a loop of the River Severn. Shrewsbury has a magnificent abbey as well as Shrewsbury Castle, which stands in beautiful gardens and is home to the Shropshire Regimental Museum.
