The Dovecote is built over an 18th century coach house and livery stable for one of the village inns on the Roman Rd.

The original dovecote structure is a feature of the upstairs bedroom.

Two remarkable barn conversions set within the quaint village of Wistanstow, within the magnificent Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Each styled with chic and contemporary furnishings that perfectly compliment the character and charm of the properties' exposed brickwork and decorative beams, and boast a large open-plan living space hosting a kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with woodburning stove, guests have access to all the essentials for a smooth-sailing self-catering stay. Both cottages are complete with a fabulous garden space featuring plush outdoor furniture and a luxurious hot tub, as well as ample off-road parking. The village of Wistanstow can be found hosting an idyllic 12th century Church (popular for weddings) on the Roman Rd in the village. This is in walking distance to the cottages making them ideal for wedding parties. There is also a village smithy shop, a quaint village hall and a quintessential pub, which is a quintessential boutique brewery and restaurant, where you can enjoy a quick pint with some of the locals. The small market town of Craven Arms, known as The Gateway to the Marches is conveniently located between the beautiful medieval town of Ludlow and delightful Church Stretton. Craven Arms is an ideal base, which nestles close to the scenic Wenlock Edge and Corvedale Valley with fine walks from the town to lovely Stokesay Castle, one of England's finest fortified manor houses, or the very popular Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre. The town also has some charming and historic houses, including a round house, thought to be a recognisable rest house for pilgrims travelling between Wigmore and Shrewsbury Abbeys and the fascinating 'Museum of Lost Content'. Just two miles away in the village of Wistanstow is the Plough Inn, a good local wood brewery.
