Dating back to the Victorian era, Station House was previously the accommodation for the station master. Located in the beautiful rural village of Helhoughton, this hideaway is now a fabulous woodland retreat, full of character and offering easy access to both coastal and rural North Norfolk. Bring your bikes to explore the National Cycle Routes 1 & 2 that traverse the local area.

The period feel of this property has not been lost, just enhanced by an eclectic, interesting and individual style, with up-cycled lamps, retro finds and colourful decor. This semi-detached half-timbered house feels welcoming and relaxing as soon as you walk through the door. If you are looking for space, privacy and somewhere off the beaten track to chill out, this lovely property will appeal to you. Ideal for a small family, a couple or friends, there is lots of room to spread out both inside and out.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor (king-size and twin) and two bathrooms. One is quite a surprise, unique and rather quirky - a bath cupboard in the master bedroom - the other one is a very smart shower room. Downstairs is a well-equipped kitchen, a separate utility/cloakroom, a spacious dining room, and a really cosy, comfortable sitting room with an open fire and a table for a romantic dinner a deux. The garden runs to three sides of the house and is quite magical, with different rooms to explore and enjoy. The whole property is surrounded by wooded farmland and is frequently visited by the local muntjac deer for breakfast. And for exploring on two wheels, bikes can be securely stored in the front porch.
