  • "My family and I had an a wonderful week staying at Moorings in beautiful Kingswear."

    The property was immaculate, cosy and the views from the balconies looking out over the river Dart are incredible. You could spend hours just watching the boats and steam train! The beds were so comfortable, we all slept very well. Would highly recommend. We will definitely book again.

Come in through the front door and into the mosaic tiled porch to hang up your coats before heading downstairs to the lower-ground-floor where you'll find the wonderfully presented sitting room decorated in blue and grey hues in-keeping with the nautical theme.

Here you'll enjoy settling into one of the sofas or armchairs at the end of the day, and either putting a film on the Smart TV or getting stuck into a book.

Next door the kitchen/dining room provides a social hub, with a large island with a breakfast bar perfect for perching at with a glass of wine as you oversee the cooking, before gathering everyone around the dining table to enjoy a delicious meal, made even more enchanting thanks to the glorious backdrop of the harbour views out of the floor-to-ceiling sliding doors.

Whether it's a crisp winter day or a warm summer afternoon, you will want to sit out on the balcony as much as possible, and relish in the natural beauty of the countryside and the quaint waterside town vista.

The colourful harbour village of Kingswear is set opposite Dartmouth, on the banks of the River Dart estuary in South Devon.
