The property

This is a spectacular, upside-down detached farmhouse in the village of Suckley in the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is a stylish, contemporary conversion of a traditional farm building that was once used in hop and grain production.

Full of charm and character, the building is full of original features and with exposed oak beams inside.

The beautiful design and finish, high-quality facilities and stunning rural location make the cottage a prime spot for friends and family to come together and enjoy a luxurious holiday.

Step into Lower Tundridge Cottage and into its lovely, spacious entrance which leads towards four of the six immaculate bedrooms, two of which have sumptuous en-suite shower rooms with body jets and rainfall shower heads.

One of the rooms on this floor is a lavish suite made up of two former oast houses; the circular, high ceilinged sections are now combined and feature a huge round bed and mosaic tiled wet-room with an impressive overhead rainfall shower, body jets and multi-colour LED lighting built-in.

There is also a family shower room on the ground floor - with two separate rainfall showers and body jets in one large cubicle - and a cloakroom.

A walk up the oak, glass-panelled staircase takes you towards the fabulous open plan living area with exposed feature roof trusses and a high vaulted ceiling.

An original hoist wheel, once used to raise grain from the ground floor, remains as a reminder of the building’s heritage.

There’s plenty of comfortable seating to relax in, a large slate breakfast bar where everyone can sit together - whether for dinner or just a glass of wine and a chat - and a fantastic woodburning stove all creating a great area to sit and relax with everybody together.

The luxury kitchen area is enough to please the most enthusiastic cooks in the family with three ovens (one of which doubles as a microwave), a dishwasher, induction hob and granite worktops.

A mezzanine area looks out over the living space through glass balustrades and provides a cosy chilling-out space where you can relax with a book or spend a few moments contemplating.

The entrance hall provides another separate space to sit and enjoy the cottage and all it has to offer.

The whole building is kept at the perfect temperature by an underfloor heating system.

The first floor also boasts two family bedrooms, making it the perfect place for families with young children to come and stay.

Each of these can accommodate two adults and up to 2 younger children.

One has an en-suite shower room and the other is served by a chic family bathroom right next door - with a free-standing bath with floor standing taps over.

Just perfect for relaxing in with a glass of wine or some bubbles…and a steam room/shower cabinet for two.

Make the most of the outstanding garden when coming to stay here, there is a lawn area, alfresco dining area and a large hot tub - with lights, waterfalls, a TV, a recliner and even a built in ice-bucket/chiller - to enjoy at your leisure.

Suckley is a delightful scattered village with the essential amenities for a holiday base as it also offers scenery and plenty of walks for you to enjoy, sitting on the Worcestershire Way.

The charming town of Malvern is a short distance away, it has some lovely buildings as well as a good range of shops and restaurants and is famed for its theatres and walks across the stunning scenery of the Malvern Hills, said to have inspired Edward Elgar.

Lower Tundridge Farm is an excellent property in the most scenic of countryside locations.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £500.
