Laburnum Cottage is a lovely stone-built terrace located within the beautiful Peak District National Park.

It boasts a spacious interior with oak furnishings and soothing colour schemes, offering families and couples the perfect retreat in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Enter into the fully equipped kitchen occupying a lovely set of white painted units, integrated appliances and a lovely dining area.

Just off from here is the cosy sitting room, elevated by exposed beams and an orange glow from the electric fire.

Upstairs, are two well-presented bedrooms, sharing a gleaming all-white bathroom.

The attractive exterior offers a lovely patio area at the front with garden furniture and decorative hanging baskets.

Holiday Cottages Castleton

Situated in the heart of Castleton, at the top of the Hope Valley, are these beautiful cottages nestled within a stone-built terrace. Set back from the main bustling street in the centre of the village, these cottages boast a lovely standard of quality throughout with tasteful furnishings and surprisingly spacious interiors. Exposed oak beams add character, as the light, neutral colour schemes uplift your experience. Each of the bedrooms are thoughtfully designed, with lovely bathroom facilities serving you each morning and evening. They share a private driveway outside with off-road parking and lovely little patio areas to the front. There is also additional parking available at the Bulls Head Inn carpark, which belongs to the owners. Here, you can treat yourselves to something delicious off the seasonal menu or perhaps a gravy soaked roast on a Sunday afternoon, washed down with a refreshing pale ale. This family-run pub is overlooked by the magnificent Peveril Castle, Winnats Pass, Mam Tor and Losehill Tor, attracting walkers and explorers from all over the country. The village of Castleton offers a fascinating history, with its world-famous visitor caves and the beautiful semi precious stone Blue John which is only found and mined here. Right from the doorstep is a 50 metre stroll to the entrance to Cave Dale, leading to a beautiful walk up the valley and around Peveril Castle. The Hope Valley is one of the most popular tourist locations in the Peak District National Park. It is best known as a haven for walkers, bikers, pony trekkers and rockclimbers, as well as attracting artists, anglers and birdwatchers. There are plenty of fun-filled, family-friendly activities on offer in the area, such as Alton Towers Theme Park, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, along with the market towns of Buxton and Bakewell. The outstandingly beautiful Peak District village of Castleton is situated at the top of the Hope Valley, on the doorstep of some great walking country. Steeped in fascinating history, the village boasts the Norman Peverill Castle Keep which is in a commanding position keeping an eye on the village and the National Park. The village is a draw to walkers and all manner of outdoor enthusiasts wanting to follow the paths, conquer the Winnats Pass or have a go at caving. Castleton is world-famous for its visitor caves and the beautiful semi precious stone Blue John which is only found and mined here. Castleton has a fabulous array of interesting little gift shops, pubs, tea rooms and an excellent Visitor Centre with its small museum explaining life in the Hope Valley, plus the Christmas lights and festive activities are very popular with visitors during December. Nearby are the pretty villages of Edale, the start of the Pennine Way, Hope and Hathersage with its seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Enjoy a day out at Alton Towers or visit the impressive Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. Also within easy reach are Buxton, Matlock Bath and Carsington Water, while further afield are the market towns of Ashbourne and Leek.
