  • "Fantastic base for our family holiday."

    Eleven of us spanning three generations and the house provided all we needed. Huge driveway so even with six parked cars there was room for scootering and ball games; adding in the two grassy areas made for lots of outdoor play space. Plenty of space for everyone indoors and very well stocked with all you could need in the kitchen. Amazing countryside views from every window, we were lucky to be there when the lambs were hopping about too. Cosy corners and a dining space big enough for the whole family. The outside sheltered BBQ and Hot-tub also got plenty of use. Would definitely recommend … and if you don’t need a huge house then the smaller cottages at Ty Gwyn look just as beautiful !

The tranquil village of Llangwm is perfectly situated between the lakeside town of Bala and charming Betws-y-Coed, renowned as the gateway to Snowdonia National Park. Boasting Lakes Brenig and Alwen within a few miles, this peaceful village offers superb walking, cycling and wildlife watching opportunities amidst the surrounding countryside. The nearby village of Cerrigydrudion offers a family-run entertainment centre including cinema screen and coffee shop. The popular resorts of Betws-y-Coed and Bala are both within easy driving distance offering a range of interesting shops, inns and restaurants and a host of outdoor activities, including rafting and climbing to name just two.
