On arrival, park up in off-road space before making your way into your holiday home, where you will discover the tastefully furnished living/dining room.

Unwind with a cup of tea and escape into the pages of a book on the armchair or sprawl on the sofa to catch up on your favourite shows, when stomachs begin to rumble dine together at the table to savour a meal.

Locate the kitchen, where you can treat your other half to a heart-warming dish with an electric oven and hob to assist you and if the sun is shining, why not have an alfresco affair on the front patio?

The front garden is home to shrubbery and palm trees to keep you in the shade and when the evening cools, retreat inside, and enjoy a steamy shower in the wet room to rinse the day away.

There are a number of excellent restaurants for you to try as well as several local pubs all with their own unique ambience.

Explore the sandy cove of Colonna beach to soak in the sun and take advantage of the close proximity of the South West Coast Path either on foot or bike to marvel at the rugged coastline.

Jump in the car and unveil 200 years of history at The Lost Gardens Heligan, visit Charlestown to view unique architecture and a cluster of eateries or for a beautiful beach backed by trees, relax on Porthpean Beach.

Or take a trip to the world-renowned Eden Project and explore the bio domes and all of the exotic plants they house!

MEVAGISSEY

St. Austell 5.5 miles; Truro 16 miles.

The perfect Cornish fishing village, with winding cobbled streets and a picturesque harbour full of boats. Stunning walks lead along the coast in both directions, with sandy beaches, high cliffs and hidden coves to explore. The village has an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants, whilst just up the road are the Lost Gardens of Heligan. A ferry from Mevagissey to Fowey also runs daily between Easter and September. Spend some time at the Tall Ships harbour at Charlestown (7 miles) with its shipwreck museum, or among the tropical biomes of the world-famous Eden Project (11 miles). The stunning coastline, fabulous beaches and renowned gardens of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula are a short drive down the coast while Truro, with its shops, restaurants, theatre and cathedral can be reached by car in half an hour.
