  • "Property was fantastic, very well furnished and extremely well equipped - everything we could think we might need was available."

    The property itself was lovely, we really appreciated learning about the restoration of the barn. Touches such as welcome note, flowers and homemade brownies were really appreciated. Rachael reached out to us soon after booking with additional information on the area, activities and places to eat which meant we were able to plan our trip ahead of arriving. We also received a message on the day of checkin when the property was ready early which we really appreciated. Would absolutely recommend this property and would consider returning. We had great week.

Otterburn is a pretty village on the banks of the River Aire, in the valley of Malhamdale. It lies around 4 miles from Malham with its spectacular limestone scenery and the world famous landmarks of Malham Cove, Gordale Scar, Malham Tarn and Janet's Foss. The beautiful village of Grassington, packed with cafés and small independent shops, is well known as the filming location for All Creatures Great and Small and is just a pleasant drive away too. Otterburn is conveniently situated between the market towns of Skipton and Settle. The ancient town of Skipton, known as "The Gateway to the Dales", boasts a historic castle, a celebrated high street and the accolade of being one of the happiest places to live in the UK.
