Nearby, the Underbank, Langsett, Broomhead and Moorhall dams make for interesting afternoon rambles, whilst the ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ country of Holmfirth is within easy reach. There is easy access to the Peak District for longer walks, mountain biking and all the attractions of Hathersage, Bakewell, Edale and the impressive Ladybower Dam, whilst the proximity to the M1 means Sheffield, Leeds, York and the rest of Yorkshire’s beautiful scenery are easily accessible.
