"We had a wonderful short stay here."
A picturesque setting, with great history, the cottage ticks all the boxes for heritage. Warm, low ceilings, beams, wooden floors. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the garden birds, and pheasants sitting on the fence, sheep in the field next door, and walking up the hill climb to imagine the classic cars. We drove to the Lion Inn, a wonderful dog friendly pub in Clifton on Teme, with great beer, food and staff. Too far for an elderly dog to walk to, but very friendly when there. Beautifully appointed bedrooms, clean. We read the mixed feedback about the bathroom before we arrived. Our experience? A deep bath, hand held shower that worked perfectly. A bit of traditional luxury, in keeping with the setting. Embrace the experience.
