  • "Thank you to the property owner for being so friendly and informative."

The gifts in our fridge on arrival were a lovely surprise. We had a wonderful week at Bishop Fell. The accommodation was fantastic and met all our needs. Our two older teenagers especially liked the two upstairs bedrooms !! Great location, well worth a visit. Information supplied about surrounding areas and eateries was very much appreciated. Thank you again. Vicki x

NEWBY BRIDGE

Bowness-on-Windermere 8 miles.

The famous Furness Railway, one of Britain's oldest working standard gauge steam railways, runs between Haverthwaite and Newby Bridge. Visit the Lakeside Hotels and enjoy magnificent views across Windermere and the surrounding fells, or enjoy the Aquarium of the Lakes, where the naturally themed habitats, bring the history of the Lakes vividly to life.
