• "Excellent apartment, which had everything we needed for our stay for a week."

  Great location, only a few minutes walk to the town centre. We used the station car park, 2 minutes walk away, which we prebooked at £5.50 for 24 hours. Took all of the hassle of trying to find somewhere to park. We'd certainly use the apartment again if we visited Llandudno again.

  Absolutely everything you need for a lovely holiday at the seaside. We were there for just 4 days, but would happily have stayed longer. There's a small problem with parking, which was a nuisance. But all in all, a great place to stay.

• "The open plan cottage I stayed at in Llandudno was more than I expected from the previous stays I've had in the town."

  Everything that needed to be there was there and I really enjoyed my stay plus, next time I do have another week up in Llandudno I will book with skyes cottages no hesitation. The only complaint I have is that the kettle in the property was not exactly clean

• "You must make people aware that there are 30 VERY steep stairs to climb, also the lady that lives in flat 1 likes to report your comings and going’s to the owner!"

  !! And god forbid your dog does a wee outside! We had booked a mom-fri stay but left on Wednesday morning as I didn’t appreciate the lady complaining that my dog had done a wee outside and my husband at 84 just couldn’t manage the stairs and we were not offered any refund at all so no I wouldn’t recommend this apartment.

  The apartment is provided with numerous tools and equipment, it's a home from home. There's various restaurants nearby and one I would recommend is Mostyn Tandoori. Beside the Sea in town is a lovely place to stay.

  The flat is well equipped, relaxing, and only a 2 minute walk from all shops and the sea front. There are great transport links close by as well, as the flat was located on the same road as the train station and a main bus route. The stairs we didn’t mind, but it might something to be aware of as it is on the third floor. The super king sized bed was the definitely the highlight! The flat was lovely and warm, and the TV subscriptions were a great addition as well. We’ll definitely be back and rebooking, thank you for a lovely stay.

• "Great location, perfect for a base to further explore Llandudno and the surrounding areas."

  As a family with two young kids we appreciated a variety of books and games that were provided - origami and chess in particular kept our girls occupied in the evenings/ early mornings. The flat was clean and well maintained. Basic commodities were provided. The owner was very kind and checked on us ensuring we had what we needed and offered suggestions of good places to eat out etc. The property is within a short walk to all main attractions of Llandudno and if you need anything from the shop the big shopping area is just 5 mins walk away. Coming from London, we were pleasantly surprised how dog friendly Llandudno was - our dog also enjoyed his stay. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the flat that toys, bowls, towels and snacks were provided for our dog. Great stay, would recommend and will definitely be back again.

  Only main issue we had was the fact that the name of the place was Beside the sea and yet it didn't say that on the front door of the main entry way! It said Olive groves and that name was not mentioned on the website, which made it very difficult to find!

• "We’ve just enjoyed another week in Beside the sea and it didn’t disappoint!"

  We stayed there a couple of years ago and always said we’d love to go back. The property has such a lovely feel and prime location ! • "Getting the key was very complicated, took over 10 minutes on arrival and again nearly 10 minutes on departure to open the security box."

  The Sofa for us was uncomfortable and their was no hot water to the bathroom sink, but the shower was lovely and warm and their was hot water in the kitchen sink. There were instructions that you had the tap at a trickle to obtain hot water but this didn’t seem to work. We could have contacted the owner but it really didn’t matter. It was not a place we would rebook as there were too many stairs. We had reasonable good weather and an enjoyable holiday. There was a pub a minutes walk away and they sold the local brewery beer which was perfect.

• "The week we stayed was the coldest week of the year with a Arctic breeze blowing in, when we arrived we were created with a warm cosy appartment with all the comfort creatures we needed and a lovely shower after a day of walking."

  We live in the country with no close amenities, so it was such a pleasure just stepping outside and a 5 mintute walk you are in town, and Llandudno such a pretty town with it's Victorian architecture . My wife and I and are two small dogs, Bob and Bruce really enjoyed our stay, and just want to say big thankyou to Colin and Michelle.

A short walk to West Shore beach and central for the Train Station and all of Llandudno's amenities a stone's throw away.   Everything was wonderful, the owners are lovely and made us feel welcome, the apartment was cosy, spacious, good quality decor and furniture, games and books and Netflix to keep busy. Really Family friendly, Everything we needed was there. It’s the perfect location, a walk away from the beach and pier, next to the train station and lots of small and big shops if you need it. We could not recommend enough, and we are already looking to go back again hopefully very soon! Probably the best place I’ve ever stayed in Llandudno area! Thank you

• "My stay was absolutely wonderful!"

  The location was great as it was a short walk to the beach and everything was in such close proximity. I didn't have to get into my car once this weekend. It was just my dog and me that visited and Colin was so welcoming and pleasant, ensuring that I was settled in all okay and then left me to it for the weekend. Michelle was very lovely for leaving milk in the fridge for tea as I had a long drive from Northampton. The apartment was absolutely clean, the bed was so comfy and it was a home away from home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. It was definitely worth every penny. Both Harper and I had a lovely getaway.

• "Spotlessly clean!"

  Comfortable lounge area with clean modern kitchen area with everything you need (apart from scissors). The only criticism's would be that the bed is very creaky when rolling over, and for me personally I would have liked some fuller/extra pillows. Its also not very clear which recycling bins are which apart from the one for card and paper(which has a sticker) it would be helpful if the other two were clearly labelled. Finally the key safe is very tricky to open it took my husband and I quite a while to get it to unlock. These are only minor things and would not put us off returning, but I always like to think any feedback is good feedback. We really enjoyed our stay and had some lovely walks and visited some lovely places.

  Might be handy to give this info when issuing code. Apartment is lovely & cosy, just as described. Super king size bed was really comfy. Grandson slept in living room on sofa as he didn’t like the Z bed. That was fine. Obviously that meant when he went to bed around 10ish (he couldn’t stay awake any longer) it meant we had to go to bed as well. A suggestion might be a small tv in the bedroom so you can watch a bit of late tv. A guide is provided giving details of how everything works, washer, heating, key lock (although you’re already in by then

• "Beside the sea in Town is extremely well situated."

  It is close to the town centre, the sea front and the Albert pub. The flat was ideal for a couple spending a few days in Llandudno, the flat was on the second floor using stairs. The facilities were as advertised, and the kitchen equipment was perfectly suitable even though we did not cook while we were there. All in all the flat provided an excellent base for our walking holiday.

• "Beside the Sea - in town was a comfortable and warm flat ( once we sussed out the heating!"

  ). There was a very comprehensive file giving instructions for all the appliances, which was very helpful, especially for a technophobe like myself! The exterior of the building, and the approach to the flat up 35 stairs could be a bit offputting , but my sister and I had our 71st birthday there, and we managed the stairs with no problems. Inside the flat has everything one needs. Shops are very nearby, and the front is only a short walk away. The bed is the biggest I have ever slept in! The only disadvantage was not being able to park near the flat. We were able to unload and load the car, but are too mean to pay parking fees, but were able to leave it safely on the front about a mile away, where one does not need to pay. If you don't mind paying you can park at the station, about 100 yards away. I understand there may be a special weekly rate. Michelle called in our first night to make sure everything was okay. She was very friendly and helpful: she even left us a birthday card, which was very kind and thoughtful. I would certainly stay there again.

  I’m very fussy and picky however the place was so lovely and relaxing. The accommodation is very cosy, it’s like a home from home. The cleanliness was amazing, the place was immaculate. • "We had a 4 night stay, could not fault the owners and their hospitality!"

  It’s the small details, checked which milk we preferred and popped it in the fridge for our arrival. They checked there was anything else we needed once we did arrive and dropped us a text the day before we left. Apartment was immaculately clean and the bed was the comfiest I’d ever slept in. Weather took a turn so we stayed in with snacks and the full Netflix account which was a god send with 2 children. We will defiantly be back x

• "Accessing the apartment was interesting - a grotty hallway, then a flight of stairs, then another flight of stairs, but this one with a stair lift, not really sure how some-one who needs a stair lift could get to it The apartment was very good, except the advertised washing machine had an 'Out of Order' sign attached to it - so not as advertised, oh and the 'posh/pretentious' soap dispenser did not work."

  We are looking to revamp the entrance to the property with a new lick of paint and a fresh door over the winter season, the apartment is on the second floor as detailed on our online profile I hope this didn't cause to much inconvenience. We are awaiting an engineer to look at the washing machine but with back to back bookings it does prove difficult, I hope your holiday experience was not effected to much by these issues and we thank you for your comments.   Fantastic apartment , everything is top class... bed the size of football pitch ...biggest TV we have ever had in an apartment and we have seen many in our travels...very modern kitchen...you just have to book it if you visit llandudno. Within a minutes walk is a breakfast cafe, a pub, a very good restaurant and not that much further the beach .The owner Colin/ Michelle are there to make your holiday perfect and will do anything they can to make your stay perfect. We needed a "favour" on a couple of occasions and they obliged both times. Don't be put off by the hall and stairs just get to the apartment and you will be very,very glad you booked it. Will be going again without doubt.

  A real home from home, beautifully clean, smelt lovely, tastefully furnished and every conceivable thing you could need for a short or long stay. Fresh flowers were a nice touch and milk/tea/coffee was provided too. Check in was extremely smooth, the instructions clear and the owner was just a text or phone call away and very helpful. Everything you needed to know was in a folder with clear instructions too. The apartment is situated perfectly to explore the beach - both North and West shores, the town centre and beyond. We managed to park just round the corner on the road with no parking restrictions- but make sure you check. Will definitely want to stay here again. Thank you

• "I booked a last minute 4night stay in this apt and it was the perfect choice."

  Great location between the main promenade and West Shore area with everything in walking distance. Extremely clean and comfortable apt with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! Modern bathroom which looked new with spacious and powerful hot shower. Really comfy sofa and huge Smart TV with catch up apps and Netflix for a cosy evening in. Although didn’t end up watching much TV as had good weather so was out all day, back to apt to make my dinner and then most nights went out again to see the sunset at West Shore! Was a real home from home and I would definitely recommend a stay here! Met one of the owners too who was lovely and friendly and left me a lovely bunch of flowers and some milk in the fridge too which was appreciated. Nice little extra touches too like a cosy throw on the couch and leaving reading glasses on the book shelf in case you forgot your own! Some other places I have stayed in can be a bit sparse and bland but Beside the Sea in Town is very homely, welcoming and cosy. Wish I could have stayed longer!

• "This apartment was perfect!"

  Great location, very clean, modern and with useful extras such as hand gels, packs of tissues, salt, pepper and individually packed coffee, sugar and tea bags. There were also coat hangers, a VERY comfortable large bed and a great selection of crockery and glass wear. We were provided with a detailed file with everything you could ever need to know to make your stay comfortable and stress free. There were fresh flowers in a vase on the table and a friendly Seagull who visited us daily! (he didn’t make a sound! He seemed to just enjoy peering through the lounge window, which our 5 year old loved!) We found the on road parking easy, there was always a space outside, just keep an eye on the signs telling you the parking restrictions. The owner is really friendly and easily contactable. We would definitely recommend! We can’t wait to go back!

• "When looking at Beside The Sea - in Town from the outside it looks like a marvellous old house, upon entry with the key from the digit box you enter a creepy hall way with a rickety old staircase, but don’t let that put you off, as I wasn’t bothered & neither was my little boy who was excited at going up all the stairs (but my wife would be the one to please, upon 1st look she wasn’t to happy but I said wait till you see the apartment) and that is were my wife said WoW."

  When you enter the apartment you know your safe because all the doors are heavy fire doors to protect you & your family in an emergency. But the apartment itself has a very spacious open plan living room & kitchen diner, with anything & everything in it that you would need, the bathroom has a fabulous powerful shower that you’ll need after a days hiking around Llandudno & the bedroom has enough space for all those extra clothes that you bring but don’t need, there is a very very comfortable Queen size bed that is so comfy you won’t want to leave in the morning. The owner of the apartment couldn’t do enough to help us out with anything that we needed or wanted, and if you want to his wife makes an exceptional lemon drizzle cake. There are games to play, books to read, the tv is there to watch what you want with Netflix (myself & my wife watched “Stir Crazy”) Your only a short walk from pubs, restaurants & the amusements of Llandudno if you have any walking disabilities. All in all if you want an advantage point for Llandudno this is the place to stay, the only issue is parking, but if you can you can park just up the road by the path or you can pay to stay in the train station just a 5min walk from the apartment. You want to stay in Llandudno with your own rules of when you have to go back, then this place is all you really need. Thanks again

• "The apartment was spotlessly clean and smelt lovely!"

  ! We were welcomed with homemade lemon drizzle cake and fresh milk in the fridge. I’d packed all cleaning items to keep the place clean throughout our stay but it was already there for us, along with tea towels, hand soap and washing tablets!! Absolutely could not fault a thing. The owners gave us a call and popped round to make sure everything was ok for us and were willing to help advise on local attractions etc. Would highly recommend this apartment, being a couple of streets back from the sea front, and close to lots of restaurants and shops, it’s in a perfect location for holiday makers. 10/10 from us, were already looking to re book!!

  We loved staying here. It had a modern bathroom, very well equipped modern kitchen with a washer/dryer - Which we used everyday to wash our beach clothes and swimming things. Bed was huge and very comfortable. WiFi was excellent (better than home ! ). Enjoyed watching Netflix in the evenings. Very helpful and friendly hosts. • "Just back from a week in this lovely apartment, great communication with the owners throughout & went out there way to make sure we had everything we needed and a welcome call after we arrived to check all was ok."

  Apartment is fantastic, very clean the most comfy bed I have slept in, fab shower & all beds made up for arrival. Welcome pack also provided with tea, coffee, biscuits,milk, etc. We parked at the train station which is a 2 min walk and £2 for 12 hours or we booked online and paid for the full week through info provided on paystation in carpark so we didn't need to keep going back to renew tickets.Apartment is in a block with four apartments with this been on the 3rd floor. The only slight negative is the entrance and stairwells to apartment needs a big revamp as wasn't what we were expecting when arrived and lighting is on a push switch timer which sometimes goes off before getting to the apartment door. But we throughly enjoyed our stay and can't fault the apartment at all. Would definitely stay again.

• "Myself and my partner decided to book to get away for a few days for a nice and relaxing time in a town we are familiar with; and Beside The Sea - In Town provided the means for this and more!"

  From the outset, communication between myself and the owners was perfect and friendly as they provided helpful information to do with items provided in the flat, directions to the area and parking advice as well as ensuring we arrived safely and checking if we needed anything. Perfectly placed right in the middle of Llandudno Town centre we parked in the safe CCTV Train station car park which is only a 2 minute walk away. Everything you need is within walking distance. The appartment was cosy, warm and very clean. We slept extremely well in the huge and extremely comfortable bed and we loved the large and spacious bathroom and shower area. Well equipt with a lovely sofa and smart TV as well as a modern kitchen area; the appartment had everything we needed. I have already recommended this lovely little place to my family and will definitely look to book again in the future!

• "This is an extremely well kept and stylish apartment in a superb central location, all the attractions are a short walk away and you can park just a few metres away from the apartment on the street outside."

  Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owners who are on hand throughout your stay should you require any help or advice on anything! The apartment is very well equipped with absolutely everything you need and loads of fresh towels are supplied. The weather was terrible when we visited and we always looked forwards to getting back to the apartment as it was so comfortable, great sofa and large footstool to relax on and smart TV complete with Netflix, there are also board games and lots of good books to read if thats your thing. All in all a great apartment and we highly recommend it to anyone thinking of booking some time away in Llandudno. Thanks Colin & MIchelle for your hospitality and that lovely lemon drizzle cake!

• "Lovely bright and welcoming apartment!"

  The owners were so friendly and attentive and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. Fantastic location near to all the attractions. The apartment was home from home and we were left a beautiful sponge cake to enjoy! This break away was just what we needed and the whole process from booking to travelling down was seamless. Storm Dennis you couldn’t stop us!

• "Lovely place to get away for a few days."

  Absolutely beautiful apartment. Everything needed was available, even netflix which was great for the evenings. Very cosy. Also the cheesecake for us on arrival was fab!! Would definitely stay again its been great! I would 100% recommened this to anyone! Thank you for making our break away so lovely!!

  This apartment is little gem , has everything you could possibly need is immaculately clean and beautifully presented, bed is very comfy , I am very picky with my standards and this place has quality everything from there bedding and towels to the toilet rolls they leave for you , the added extras make it outstanding such as tea ,coffee , sugar , milk , homemade cheesecake, toilet rolls , shower gels the list goes on little touches like this make it extra special, good communication with owners , WiFi good and Netflix etc good for night time or rainy days , would definitely recommend xxx

• "Extremely well furnished open plan apartment with excellent kitchen facilities, large TV & Netflix."

  Home made cakes on arrival & during stay! Location is superb, five minutes to retail park, high street & beach. Cafes, restaurant & takeaways on the doorstep. Two minutes from train station. Owners live around the corner so are available to give any info, advice, recommendations etc. There are no parking restrictions on the street but spaces are limited, having said which in seven days we only had to pay for parking once - and that was in the railway station which is two minutes walk & only costs £2 for 12 hours! In the evening there are no parking restrictions at all. There are stairs to the apartment so people with limited mobility might struggle. All in all though 5 *****!
