The property

Nestled in the heart of Lymington in Hampshire, is this picture-postcard, three-storey, Grade II listed cottage, 7 Church Lane.

Enjoying a central location with easy access to the local amenities and on the edge of the stunning New Forest National Park, as well as an interior adorned with character and period features, 7 Church Lane is a superb dog-friendly dwelling for couples or a family of four.

Step into the sitting room, featuring exposed beams, where you can kick-back and relax on the plush sofas whilst watching your favourite show on the TV, as your pooch snuggles up in front of the woodburning stove.

Impress your loved ones with delicious meals, prepared in the well-equipped kitchen, with Quartz worktops and all the appliances you could need, ready to enjoy at the dining table for four.

After dinner, why not head out to the rear, enclosed patio where you can sit back with your favourite tipple and enjoy the tranquillity of your surroundings.

As the evening grows darker, follow the curved staircase up to the first floor, where you can wash away the day with a soak in the bath or freshen up under the overhead shower.

LYMINGTON

Lyndhurst 9 miles; Christchurch 12 miles; Southampton 18 miles.

The charming market town of Lymington is situated on the west bank of the Lymington River at the western end of The Solent, at the southern edge of the New Forest National Park. As well as being a favoured sailing resort, there are also regular ferry links to the Isle of Wight. The town boasts an array of interesting boutiques and craft shops, or you can treat yourselves to a meal at one of the numerous local restaurants. Lymington is surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, from the heathlands and ancient woodlands of the New Forest to the coastal nature reserves which extend for 5 miles culminating in the shingle spit which is home to Hurst Castle, built in 1554 by Henry VIII. Lymington provides an excellent touring base from which to explore the New Forest, the Isle of Wight and the Hampshire coast.
